Multiple Power Options

V1-R modules have several powering options for a range of different circumstances.

PoE Port Power:

When plugged into a PoE port, modules do not require an external power source. The module in this mode can be used as a standard media converter or it can pass the power through the device over Hybrid Cabling.

External USB-C Power

Edge devices without a PoE can be powered via the auxiliary USB-C power port.

Hybrid Cabling Power:

When coupled with Hybrid cabling that is connected to a PoE 802.3bt power source the module can pass power through from a PSE device to a PD device without the need for an additional power supply. This extends the distance of cable runs well past traditional 100 meter runs.
